In my opinion, I feel that cheating is anything that the man/woman does while away from their companion/spouse and they do not mention what they did or how it happened at all once they are back in the presence of their significant other. For example: A couple been in relationship for 2 years. Woman goes out with her girls one night, dances all sexy while grinding on another man, whispers in his ear, flirts here and there--but doesn't slip him her number. The woman is ashamed and embarrassed after leaving the club and goes home to her man, walks in the door and acts as if her night was wonderful fun with "just" the girls. She don't disclose any information of that nice, sexy young man she was kicking it with a couple hours prior because she know that her man would be upset. That's cheating in my opinion. It doesnt necessarily mean that only sexual intercourse counts as cheating, there are many different things that could fall in category.
